The Italian wine market keeps on growing year by year and it represent a good part of our export. Italian wines are more and more appreciated in the world, in a moment when wine curiosity is reaching everyday an increasing number of people.
So, everybody is buying Italian wine, even because you have one for all tastes: not only red and white, but also sparkling and sweat – and we are the first in the world for the production of native grape varieties.
Starting with our region, Tuscany, you already get some of the greatest names: Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Morellino di Scansano and obviously the Super Tuscan brand.
Going north you meet all the fantastic reds from Piemonte (Barolo, Barbaresco…), the spark of Franciacorta and Prosecco, but also wonderful whites, from Trentino Alto Adige to Friuli Venezia Giulia. Also wines from the south of Italy are increasing in production and quality: Taurasi, Fiano di Avellino, Primitivo, Etna and so on and so forth.
As we always say, you can appreciate 100% of a glass of wine only if you have the combination of three good things: food, company and landscape.
These days you can find our wines everywhere in the world, but nothing will never be like tasting them in the wineries where they are produced. Great places, museum-wineries immersed in nature where you can have tastings and memorable meals.
There is a whole world to discover, something you cannot miss if you are planning a trip in Italy.
